LEVI'S
As Head of CG at Levi’s, I developed a 3D digital pipeline that transformed how Levi’s jeans were visualized for e-commerce and marketing. This project scaled from an initial pilot to hundreds of fits across multiple seasons, requiring me to hire and train a team of 3D artists to handle the volume while maintaining photorealistic accuracy.
COMP PROJECT // DIGITIZING DENIM
This pilot demonstrated that high-quality 3D renders could effectively replace traditional photoshoots while maintaining consistency across Levi’s seasonal collections. Following its success, Levi’s expanded the project, commissioning hundreds of fits and requiring the development of a scalable workflow. To meet this demand, I assembled and led a team of 3D artists, refining techniques to handle large-scale production while ensuring precision in fit, texture, and presentation. Displayed here is just a fraction of the compositions created.
BRIDGING PHYSICAL & DIGITAL // 3D SCANS & FUTURE FINISH
To achieve unmatched realism, I scanned and recreated Levi’s photo studio as a 1:1 digital replica, capturing HDR environments and geometry to ensure accurate lighting and material consistency. This scanning process was essential to the Future Finish project, creating a foundation for realistic and customizable denim visualization.
For the Comp Project, I developed a rigging pipeline in Maya, building multiple proportioned base meshes as starting points for different jean fits. Using Clo3D and Marvelous Designer, I refined fabric behavior before finalizing the assets in Maya & V-Ray, creating a scalable and reusable system for generating highly customizable compositions across multiple product lines.
Future Finish Ecomm Demo
“This visualization tool showcases the 3D assets I developed from high-resolution scanned data, enabling accurate digital representations of Levi’s denim. This workflow later evolved into the Comp Project where 3D digital twins of fits are sold on Levi’s and Amazon websites.”
